The Trophy 2052 Walkaround is a robust fishing machine with a dependable MerCruiser sterndrive that takes up little cockpit space. This Trophy has spent most of its life in covered/heated storage and it shows, the fabric and overall vessel is spotless and is in better condition that boats half this ones age. Trophy set a name for itself for building saltwater fishing boats featuring deep windows around the wheelhouse, large dashboards for flush-mounted electronics, versatile cockpit spaces, and decent cabin accommodations that took the harsh edge off overnighting it. This boat ticks a number of offshore must-haves, including good, deep freeboard, a decent walkaround and self-draining deck, a MerCruiser inboard Diesel engine with an Alpha 1 sterndrive. Features included a backlit live bait tank, a transom workstation with a freshwater sink, icebox, battery isolator panel, stainless steel deck fittings including oversize cleats, and windscreen wipers on both sides of the deep split windscreen. The good stuff didn’t just appear at deck level. Duck below, and the Trophy 2052 Walkaround featured a full-length vee berth with an infill to make it one large space, a manual head, and full standing headroom.
